Our story

A&J’s Cakes is a Mother and Daughter duo, we founded A&J’s Cakes formally known as A&J’s Cakes and Desserts in January, 2018.

It all began when my mom (A) made a cake for her father’s birthday in January of 2018. It wasn’t the cutest but it was definitely delicious. The entire family enjoyed it and of course they all came back for seconds.

Then there was me (J), ever since I was little I have always loved baking and have been very creative. So I looked over to my mom and told her — “Omg mom! People need this in their lives. We should sell cakes!” They tasted good and with a bit more practice and patience, I decided it was finally time that others would be able to taste them too.

A&J’s Cakes es un dúo de Mama y Hija, fundamos A&J’s Cakes, conocido formalmente como A&J's Cakes and Desserts, en Enero del 2018.

Todo comenzó cuando mi mamá (A) hizo un pastel para el cumpleaños de su padre en Enero, 2018. No fue el más lindo pero definitivamente estaba delicioso. Toda la familia lo disfrutó y, por supuesto, todos regresaron por segundos.

Luego estaba yo (J), desde pequeña siempre me ha gustado hornear y he sido muy creativa. Así que miré a mi mamá y le dije: “¡Omg, mami! La gente necesita esto en sus vidas. ¡Deberíamos hacer pasteles!” Sabían ricos y con un poco más de práctica y paciencia, decidí que finalmente era hora de que otros también pudieran probarlos.

Nos encanta hacer realidad su visión y ser parte de sus eventos especiales. ¡Gracias a todos por elegirnos!
